INGREDIENTS GLUTEN FREE FISH AND CHIPS

Fisk- 4 sea bass fillets that are about 1 kilo in total.

Tattoo P0- 5 peeled potatoes, choose the appropriate variety for chips.

bicarbonate of soda- Use gluten-free baking powder.

Oil- Fritureolie

Mel- 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose yeast flour.

Spice- 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1 teaspoon of granulated garlic and 1 teaspoon of coriander.

Egg- Egg at room temperature.

Milk- ⅓ cup of milk.

Mineral water- ¼ cup mineral water which adds air to the dough and makes it crispy, so don't skip this step.

HOW TO MAKE GLUTEN FREE FISH and CHIPS

  1. Cut the peeled potatoes into thin strips, about half a centimeter thick and about 2 centimeters long. Cover with cold water and leave for 10 minutes. Then drain the water and dry the potatoes.
  2. Heat the frying oil in a pan and put the chopped potatoes in a single layer. Fry the potatoes on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until they are cooked on the outside and soft on the inside. Salt at the end. Then you can start frying the next batch of potatoes.
  3. While the potatoes are baking, you can prepare the dough. Sift gluten-free flour into a bowl. Add all the spices, salt, baking powder and mix everything well.
  4. Add eggs, milk and mineral water, mix everything again so that there are no lumps in the dough. You can immediately add half the milk and water to see how thick the dough is. Then add more to get the desired thickness.
  5. After the potatoes are cooked, place them on absorbent paper to absorb the excess oil.
  6. Heat a large amount of frying oil in ayours. Dip the pieces of fish in the batter until they are completely covered and carefully transfer them to the oil. Reduce the heat. IS BREAD GLUTEN?

It depends on the breading used. If the breading is gluten-free, then it will not be gluten-free. Only if the breading is made specifically with gluten-free breading (as in this recipe) will it be gluten-free.
